Should the lights be on from right control panel be lit all the time or only when you press the required buttom, in any case nothing happens when pressing any on the buttons. Firstly are there any drivers for WIN7? I think I have reloaded the firmware but not sure. If your using a sign making software you would have to use the original cable ie.

I want to persuvere with this cutter as the jobs I want it for this machine is ideal. Then press setup and the machine will perform a test.
Can you make anything work, as in setup, test, cqmm with the communication cable disconnected. I will have to get a parallel plug cable, funny how we had heaps of these in the past and then threw them all out as the technology moved on. If I power this machine up without any cable attached can I setup the roland camm 1 cm24 and do a test print, feed vinyl etc???. I down loaded service manual online but there is not much info on testing and fault finding.

I think I have reloaded the firmware but not sure. Buttons wise depend on whether the machine is loaded with media.

Any help please would be great. Nothing else happens, no other cmam roland camm 1 cm24 on and the buttons do nothing. This came with a serial plug and a parallel to USB plug.
